Mariah Carey becomes the first artist to spend 100 weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100

Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey has reasserted herself as the Queen of Billboard with not one but two jaw-dropping achievements this week thanks to her unrelenting hit ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You.’

As if having the most Hot 100 #1 singles (19) of any solo artist in the 67-year history wasn’t enough to boast, Carey’s most recent chart-topper – perennial holiday smash ‘All I Want for Christmas’ – earned its whopping 21st week atop the all-genre chart this week.

Beyond extending its run as the longest-reigning #1 hit ever, the reprint atop the chart gave Mimi her 100th career week at the hitlist’s summit – a first for any act ever printed on the tally.

What’s more, ‘All I Want for Christmas’ has appeared on the Hot 100 for 78 total weeks – breaking a tie with Dua Lipa‘s ‘Levitating‘ for longest-running female hit in the chart’s history.

As Carey’s fans continue to celebrate her latest slew of record-breaking achievements, look below to see who joins her on this week’s TGJ Chart Check: Hot 100 edition.
