Christina Aguilera fans (affectionately called #Fighters) who haven’t been able to fight their way to a movie theater to see the Pop diva’s ‘Christmas in Paris‘ concert film are in luck as she’s teamed with CBS to bring the critically acclaimed venture to homes across America.
Filmed in front of an intimate audience against the backdrop of the Eiffel Tower, ‘Christmas in Paris’ – after storming movie theaters nationwide on December 14 and December 21 – will be broadcast on the CBS Network and Paramount+ on Monday (December 22) at 9P/8P CST .
Launched in celebration of the 25th anniversary of Aguilera’s ‘My Kind of Christmas‘ holiday album, the television event – directed by Sam Wrench – was produced by Vertigo Live in association with Roc Nation and shows the Pop diva performing yuletide classics like ‘My Favorite Things,’ ‘Someday at Christmas,’ and more alongside some of her personal chart-topping hits.
The legendary Sheila E. and French singing sensation Yseult are among the show’s high-profile guests.

News of the CBS TV special came just a week after Aguilera visited ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ to not only celebrate the arrival of ‘Christmas’ to movie theaters but also confirm she’s hard-at-work on her next English-language album.
Her first since 2018’s ‘Liberation,’ the yet-titled effort was branded “a personal project” and will be accompanied by a revealing documentary.
And though Xtina didn’t confirm the official arrival date of the LP, the tease alone was enough to get her fans riled up in excitement.
Click PLAY on the video above to hear her full statement about the forthcoming album.

Only reconnecting with Scott Torch, DJ Premier, Linda Perry, and maybe Santana (the guitar legend, not that plastic wrap-baked yam with a beard wannabe rapper) could pump life back into her catalog at this point. My God, nothing since Stripped has struck or stuck! Xtina needs an Emancipation of Mimi moment. Hey, Gaga, Kesha & Katy are no longer threats (maybe rival and/or join Beyoncé in a rock era lane?) Roc Nation must pull off a miracle.
Nothing since Stripped? Back to Basics was a huge success. Bionic is iconic album today, regarding the commercial flop. She stayed relevant even during her flop eras and that speak volumes. Also, commercial flop doesn’t mean that the album is bad, but for album to be successful there are dozens of factors included. Xtina Is not someone who cares much about commercial success. I mean, look at Taylor. One of the worst, generic and non interesting artists ever to grace the stage, but commercially no one can come close to her. It’s called marketing.
Here’s why Taylor is a smarter biz:
MARKETING
Tay: gifted storytelling songwriter
Xtina: Whitney’s VOCAL HEIRESS!
BRAND
Tay: romantic feminism
Xtina: rabid misandry
IMAGE
Tay: Hipster femme fatale
Xtina: slŭtty change agent
PERSONA
Tay: girl’s girl underdog
Xtina: snotty bully
ARTISTRY
Tay: crossover pop mega hitmaker
Xtina: trend chasing genre hopper
MUSICAL QUOTIENT
Tay: uses mainstream producers
Xtina: stubbornly avoids hitmakers
ARTISTRY
Tay: heterogenous subject matter
Xtina: aesthetic-prone thematics
AUDIENCE
Tay: loyal country Middle America
Xtina: drag queens, gaytinos, MTFs
VOICE
Tay: subpar but respects her limits
Xtina: golden tone now gravel belts
OUTPUT
Tay: steady releases
Xtina: 2 LPs/decade
TIME MANAGEMENT
Tay: legend status before age 40
Xtina: mom in Oreo ads at age 40
P.S.
Only B2B’s lead was single-worthy,
Bionic & Lotus hitless, Liberation wasted Unless With U & Deserve.
Who spends 350k+ on an album and cares little about commercial success? Face-savers, that’s who.
I own all Aguilera’s albums, but gotta call a spade’s a spade.
She always brings it.
