Ice Spice is turning the heat all the way up with the video for her new single for ‘Thootie,’ featuring Dominican rebel-star Tokischa.

The visual, shot on location in the Dominican Republic and with creative direction from Tokischa, is a vibrant celebration of island culture – all color, chaos, and charisma.

The track marks a major milestone for the Bronx rapper, who slips into Spanish for the first time on a record, effortlessly bouncing between English and Spanish as she taps deeper into her Dominican roots.  Ice calls the track “a fun record,” and during shooting the video, she “definitely felt at home.” 

‘Thootie’ follows a busy run for Ice, including her original contribution to the upcoming ‘SpongeBob‘ film and her continued glow-up after the success of ‘Y2K!’
