Wiz Khalifa is dealing with a serious legal cloud overseas.

The rapper is currently pushing back against a newly upheld ruling in Romania that could see him serve up to nine months behind bars over a marijuana-related charge.

Earlier this year, the situation appeared relatively minor, with the ‘Black and Yellow’ hitmaker issuing a modest fine following an onstage incident at the ‘Beach, Please!’ Festival in Costinesti.

However, prosecutors appealed that outcome, and the Constanta Court of Appeal has now sided with them, reopening the case with far heavier consequences on the table.

According to those close to the star, the sentence is yet to be final, with Wiz’s legal team actively working through the appeals process in hopes of avoiding prison time altogether.

The incident stems from July 2024, when Wiz was briefly detained after lighting up during his performance a move that carries far stiffer penalties under Romania’s strict drug laws.
