Ariana Grande has been in the spotlight since childhood, but even with a career that spans television, music, and film, she says one role has taught her more than any other.

Full story below…

In a recent episode of Awards Chatter’, Grande revealed that playing Glinda in theWicked’ franchise became her most transformative experience as a performer.

According to Grande, the role helped heal her relationship with both music and acting. While characters like Cat Valentine (‘Victorious, Sam & Cat’) and Chanel No. 2 (‘Scream Queens’) shaped her early career, Glinda taught her something deeper: confidence, self-trust, and how to tune out outside criticism.

She described the experience as a turning point, reconnecting her with the joy of creating and strengthening her artistic foundation beyond pop stardom.

When asked which character she learned from the most, Grande didn’t hesitate, saying:

“Oh, definitely, Glinda. Not Cat. Not Chanel No. 2.”

For Grande, ‘Girl in the Bubble’ was like a favorite teacher, the one who teaches lessons that stay with you long after the class is over.

Looking ahead, she’s set to expand her acting roles, with the ‘Meet The Fockers’ sequel and a reunion with Jonathan Bailey on London’s West End.
