Aubrey O’Day is going on record to deny Dawn Richard‘s recent claims of being left out of Danity Kane‘s ‘The Untold Chapter‘ reunion tour.
Just two weeks after Dawn took to press to allege she was intentionally left out of Danity Kane’s ‘Untold’ reunion tour – a jaunt that only features three of the group’s five members (Aundrea, Aubrey, and D. Woods) – Aubrey has broken her silence to refute the claim.
“So I reached out to Dawn to come back. It originally started with an agent reaching out to everyone. When I saw her release that, I had reached out and said, ‘Come back.’ The reason I don’t post the receipts or get into it is that we go right back into that divisive Diddy mentality of chaos. And I don’t want to revisit that,” O’Day shared with ‘Variety‘ in a recent interview. “And so I just have always kind of let her know a few different times, you are welcome back.”
And while many assumed the 2015 physical altercation between Aubrey and Richard was part of the reason the latter was not involved in the reunion tour, O’Day suggests there was another unnamed Danity Kane member who wasn’t exactly thrilled about Dawn rejoining the lineup.
“There was a bandmate that did not want Dawn back. There was certain things that were occurring, but for me personally, the motto of Danity Kane is every single time, everyone is invited back,” O’Day said.
All-in-all, O’Day pointed to Diddy as the root cause of ongoing friction in the group.
“I have reached out to [Dawn] multiple times…but I just think that when you’re made under Diddy, there’s just so much that he did to each individual person,” Aubrey relayed. “And I think that when you build something in an unhealthy environment, that I’m not sure that it ever gets to a place where it isn’t sick.”
And for those fans who believe the reunion tour is a hint that new Danity Kane music is in the works, Aubrey has bad news.
When quizzed on if DK would be returning to the studio any time soon to crank out new hits, O’Day answered with a simple “no.”

she always fought for the band…even after the altercation she and Dawn worked together so I believe her. Even on the show Dawn use to be very pretensive and she sided with Diddy against Aubrey at one point. The issue is between D.Woods and Dawn the other girls stayed neutral so Aubrey story makes more sense. I love Dawn but she’s known to lie a lot even with the drama with her and Kalenna from dirty money, she’s the common denominator.

And, Aubrey has shown us that she will always be the leader of this group, and we respect her for that!
Just have to mention Diddy huh?
Diddy is the only person that could hold all 5 together but for some reason he destroyed them forever. We’ll never get all 5 members again, this interview was highly disappointing but not surprising
Don’t really care who did what to whom, BUT the fact is that Dawn adds the star wattage those other girls just do not have. Aubrey comes close and then Shannon, but chile NOBODY knows or cares about them other two…
