“Pretty Flacko” (also known as A$AP Rocky) may be sitting pretty atop the current iteration of the Billboard 200 thanks to his long-awaited ‘Don’t Be Dumb‘ LP, but the all-genre album chart isn’t the only tally under Rocky’s reign.
Just a week after learning ‘Dumb’ single ‘Punk Rocky‘ had become his highest-charting solo hit in over a decade, A$AP (born Rakim Mayers) has bested his own personal record by landing his first set of solo top 40 hits: ‘Stay Here 4 Life’ (#23), ‘Helicopter‘ (#24), and ‘Stole Ya Flow‘ (#33).
The cuts come as three of the 11 tracks from the album to impact the updated Hot 100.
‘Stay,’ which is also the week’s highest-charting new song among all artists, now ranks as Rocky’s highest-charting solo hit to date.
Among all A$AP’s hits, however, 2012’s ‘F*ckin Problems‘ (featuring Drake, 2 Chainz, and Kendrick Lamar), 2015’s ‘Good for You’ with Selena Gomez, and 2017’s ‘No Limit‘ with G-Eazy and Cardi B remain his overall highest-charting hits with their respective #8, #5, and #4 peaks on the Hot 100.
Rocky’s not the only one who had a great week on the all-genre singles chart; click here to revisit our recap via TGJ Chart Check.
