Blogger Milagro Gramz will temporarily step into the role of lawyer as she prepares to represent herself in the appeal of Megan Thee Stallion’s defamation lawsuit.
Full story below…
The move comes after Gramz’s attorneys withdrew from the case.
The original verdict, reached in 2025, resulted in reduced damages totaling $59,000 and the dismissal of the defamation claim against Gramz.
However, the jury did find her liable on other claims related to the promotion of a deepfake video.
Stallion first filed the lawsuit against Gramz in 2024, alleging that the blogger spread false statements about her following the 2020 Tory Lanez shooting.
Gramz has since filed new court paperwork to proceed “pro se”, meaning she will handle the appeal on her own while facing Megan Thee Stallion’s legal team.
During the trial, jurors were tasked with determining whether Gramz qualified as a media defendant under Florida law.
The jury ruled that she did.
Jurors concluded that Megan Thee Stallion failed to meet that legal requirement, leading to the dismissal of the defamation claim.
The case has now moved into the appeals phase, with Stallion and Gramz headed back to court.
