Tragedy has struck Snoop Dogg‘s family.

For, the rapper’s daughter Cori Broadus is mourning the devastating loss of her baby girl, Codi, just weeks after celebrating her long-awaited return home following a prolonged stay in the NICU.

Cori shared the tragic news via Instagram Stories on moments ago.

In one post, she reshared a family photo originally shared by her brother Cordell Broadus, which included their famous father and carried the message of support:

“We got you forever @princessbroadus.”

In another heartbreaking Story, Broadus posted a photo of herself smiling while holding her daughter, paired with the words:

“Monday, I lost the love of my life. My Codi.”

A third image, showing the new mom lying in bed with her baby, reflected the shock and pain of the loss:

“20 days later?! Dawg I’m sick.”

The tragic update comes shortly after a moment of triumph for the family. Earlier this month, Broadus announced that Codi had finally come home after spending 10 months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The baby was born prematurely at 25 weeks in February 2025.

At the time, she wrote:

“She’s home… Thank you for every prayer, every message, every ounce of love. God heard them all.”
