The songbird that is Jill Scott took flight in Virginia recently, when she flew into ‘The Hampton Jazz Festival’ for yet another stellar live showing.
Joined by a trio of gifted backing vocalists, the Soprano wooed her willing crowd with a rendition of 2011’s ‘So Gone’, going onto to watch her support rock the stage with the Kevin Conner penned H-Town classic ‘Knockin’ Da Boots’.

This is what you call real soul.
Miss Jill did that.
Jilly from Philly….my mom loves her 😀
I remember when Fraudyonce stole her song.
Oh sit. Beyonce sung it better anyway.
No boo, Beyonce tried to pass that s*** off as her own and failed.
Beyonce does not steal songs so shut up.
I see some of you debating which version of He Loves Me is better. Jill will always be the better singer but I prefer Beyonce’s.
Blasphemy Beyonce can not sing, she only yells.
Coming from a Rihanna fan I just have to laugh. When was the last time someone said Rihanna could sing.
wow,how funny queen jill blah blah blah when beyonce is tha only thing that stayz on yallz brainz…bey keepz this bitchez relevant..remeber jill scoot-u mean tha one bey….remember her,u mean tha one bey …. gosh its annoying.its like beyonce is always on ya brain
Beyoncé does not have the depth or the versatility. That’s why her record sales were failing in her demographic and others. She is a great performer with voice overs, lights, wind machines, graphics etc. But her alone, no wind machine, no background singers or pre recorded tracks… she would not keep my attention for long.
