Pop powerhouse Jessie J lived up to her billing during a recent live performance of new single ‘Thunder’.
Presently on her sold-out ‘Alive’ arena tour, the 25-year-old delivered the super-charged rendition of the Stargate / Claude Kelly cut at the Echo Arena in Liverpool this week.
Jessie’s unmissable performance awaits after the jump…
Throws offering money at the screen!
Yes, yes, and yes! Jessie continues to showcase her uncanny ability to render great material epic material when performing live.
Third time really does appear to be a charm for ‘Thunder’s housing album – ‘Alive’. Because, despite nabbing top ten placings with previously released singles ‘Wild’ and ‘It’s My Party’, it’s this track that looks set to be the bolt of lightning the LP needs commercially. Absolutely stellar.
I love her vocals here but the song itself isn’t the best to be honest.
Dammm She is the BEST!!!!!!
Im waiting for Jessie to tone down the over singing and then make THAT album that is going to be the one.
Who?
One hit album wonder. Everything from her new album is average with a lot of screaming, riffing and running.
Hands down, there isn’t a female singer in the UK that can do what Jessie J does. She is a great vocalist that actually delivers live, as well. I haven’t heard her new album, but i’m impressed with what she does. She really deserves her just due.
More over singing from Jessie J. Yawn. She’d really blow me away if she actually sang the song and each note precisely instead of powering through every note like she has something to prove. It would help if she had better material to work with instead of Katy Perry Teenage Dream album leftovers. Still, her range is incredible and I’ll be checkin for her when she finally does put it to good use.
Best voice in music right now. This song is solid, but I agree all in all she needs better material to really showcase her talent.
This is the best I’ve ever heard/see her, she’s gradually learning to let her vocal performance BUILD to a crescendo rather that START at the crescendo. This performance was breath-taking, can’t think of another word as befitting.
I have a feeling half of the ppl that made comments haven’t even listened to her new album…its actually a really good album with a little R&B influence so I’m definitely looking for the US release when it gets here. She delivers in her live performances like whoooaaa I need her to tour here
Who?
THIS IS HOW YOU SING LIVE
