  1. ENOUGH ONIKA (NEW & IMPROVED) February 9, 2014

Thank you TGJ!! I’m so glad you posted on Angel and her new single! Been a fan of Trin-i-Tee 5:7 since their debut in 98. It’s good to see them go off and do their own thing for a bit. I’m excited for both ladies releases! I have to say though, Angel is being a bit..confusing to me. She released two singles last week, this one and Weak. Now I have NO problem with christians singers singing about their love relationships in a tasteful way (i.e. Stacie Orrico) but, that Weak single…I’m not feeling it at all. You wanna lead people into worship then the next track is about your man making you weak…Either release a mainstream and gospel EP separately or choose which direction you wanna go with in your solo career cause this playing the fence thing ain’t it…

Anyway, Erica wow! You’re totally surprising me lately with the direction of your solo career and I’m pleased with what I’m hearing and seeing. I do love Mary Mary’s more urban/R&B sound but it’s cool you’re taking a different route with mixing more traditional sounding gospel to your solo stuff. And Deitrick…..I’m still put off by him after his behavior on Preacher’s of LA so I’ll pass.

    Anyway, thanks again TGJ!!

This is not a good look for Erica. I actually think she is crying out for help. Where’s the joy that should be present in the believer’s life on this album cover? It actually looks depressing and not uplifting. Ever since “The Sound” they’ve been going off on a tangent of “good” ideas, not God ones. That reality show is a mess and has actually damaged their cause.

Dietrick needs to sit down, he’s no example. I’m tired of these plastic ministers running roughshod over the power of the Gospel with their wayward lives, no wonder these celebs are dying in all kinds of states, there’s no one carrying any yoke and bondage-breaking power of God. Anyway, let’s see where we are one year from here. Many of these artists could once go old or even Platinum, no, are their careers even viable? Maybe they should go do some missionary work and get grounded as to what the foundation of our faith really is.
