I have a question! Are artists getting recognized for streams that come from Tidal? (that includes video streams). If they aren’t then there really is no point in exclusive content as it stifles the songs from getting a shot at the billboard hot 100. Then by the time it gets to VeVo everyone has already copped it or watched in on MisterWorldPrémiéré, so it won’t make a difference. If they are going to do Tidal-only releases it should just be interviews, unreleased songs or behind-the-scenes stuff but not new singles or music videos – let’s learn from the disaster that is American Monoxide!
