When an album dominates in the way Adele‘s ’25’ is, it becomes a buffet of sorts when promotional performances roll around. So many great songs to choose from!
Thankfully, the Tottenham bred talent is blessing each stage she touches with something different.
This evening on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (which she appeared as part of a US “lock-out” deal with NBC), she and her band rocked out to one of our favorite cuts – ‘Water Under The Bridge.’

I must say that I am a heavy adele supporter. But I haven’t seen one crazy bad ass live performance of her that I got goosebumps from. Am i the only one? I don’t mean it in a bad way. I just thought about it recently. Like I can remember when I first saw a live performance from Mariah and Whitney and how I was totally mesmerized. Was stalking them on youtube and stuff. especially MIMI. Maybe she needs to do some acoustic so that we can hear her voice bare. And more confidence maybe!?

Of course you are right. I like her too but she can not slay live. Look at her underwhelming performance at the oscars with Skyfall and how nodody stood up, while Lady Gaga killed it live this year and received such a (deserved) huge standing ovation. Not to mention Whintey, Mariah, Celine as you also said. Adele is great, bue very safe, and not on the level of those others.
I’d say look harder, but it requires next to no effort. Did you forget the web address to YouTube? It’s all there. Perhaps Adele just doesn’t do it for you.

OMG! You’re kidding me! How? Are radios actually picking up the spins nationwide? Wow! I’m so glad for her! This proves her power is incredible! I don’t know why the same wasn’t done for Jan, but at least Missy is able to take in all this love and support.

She sounds so good. I can tell that the surgery changed her voice, but she’s able to sing without restrictions now.
I don’t care how many albums she sell Adele is boring and overrated as hell! her new album is elevator music if anybody else put this mess out you all would be saying it’s boring as hell yall just jumping on the bandwagon cause of sales her voice is not amazing at all!
I kinda get what you mean. I think that the fact is she dissent look threatening (like Susan Boyle) people have taken to her. Although not a fan, Leona Lewis sings equally as boring music and does with (in some peoples eyes) stellar vocals and is struggling with album sales.
I still think that if Adele looked her age and was slimmer if would’ve been a different story, this is not to say that she’s not talented but every middle aged woman across the world can relate to her.
Way better than Hello. I really like this song. And it is way better suited for her voice too. Something like Hello is more for a real belter 🙂
I don’t know about y’all, but her live performances of “Hometown Glory” never fail to touch my heart, especially when they were from the “19” era.
Beyonce fans are so hived about a female solo artist making rubbish of Beyonce’s dominance that they’re looking for any and every reason to downplay Adele’s talent and far superior success.
Adele is boring as hell with a mediocre voice she has never blown me away once with a performance all hype!
I feel like most artist in mainstream is overhyped and that s*** includes my girl Beyonce as well.
