Stefflon Don is ready for her global close-up!
The British rapper has been building a booming buzz by way of a mega-mixtape, collaborations with the likes of Demi Lovato, and a co-sign from Drake.
Now, she’s upping the ante with new single ‘Hurtin’ Me.’
The track, which features French Montana, is the first official single from Steff’s Universal Music imprint V-IV Records and also serves as her premiere release under new US label Quality Control (home to Migos & Lil’ Yachty).
Directed by Steff and Luke Biggins, the cut’s accompanying video arrives fresh from news that the rapper will also be performing alongside Future on his upcoming European tour.
Want to know what all the hype is about?
We’ve love when she spits bars, as such the fact this song is essentially one long hook does grate slightly.
Still, it’s ear candy and the French feature is a great exposure look. The video, while simple, looks lush too.
We continue to be excited about Steff’s prospects on a worldwide level.
