Fans of the group’s former front woman Nicole Scherzinger had hoped that its founder Robin Antin would call on her to lead what they hoped would be a reunion.
Unfortunately for them, Antin- who is currently facing potentially baseless claims that she forced the band’s original members into prostitution– has decided to reboot the brand with a new crew of younger Pop hopefuls.
This week, after weeks of speculation, the singer Pia Mia confirmed that she was its new lead performer and- keen to find girls just as good as she is- held auditions in LA!

Well before they became commercial the pussycat dolls was originally an interchangeable group so I don’t see the issue plus this group would be for this newer generation anyways! I checked out this Pia Mia check and saw videos with her and her vocal coach she got some vocal pipes on her so we will see….
You are right, they were an interchangeable group with celebrities ocassionally singing with them in the club. The popular worldwide success was with the girls that we know, so the same name with a whole new group is asking for SUGABABES flop. Pia Mia tried the solo star and it didn’t works so this
I believe this could do well, their is no more 5H and the other Pussycat dolls are too old to be half naked. Plus pia has a great voice

The dated concept for this group….The fact that the Owner of the brand thinks that she can re-do the group with different members…Nah

Bring back Nicole, Melody, Kimberly, Ashley, Jessica and Carmit .
The new group is totally different than the old group,There is no reason to compare the two. There is the old group with Nicole and their hits and the new group with Pia is younger a little more urban and hip, they are what’s hot now and their music will be totally different.
This is what I’m hearing so let’s wait and see before judging.
