Of said thoughts was his declaration of love for Donald Trump – the height of which saw him rock a ‘Make America Great Again’ hat.
Naturally, given the current racial tensions in the US, many of West’s Urban core lashed out at the rapper for betrayal. Not only of them, but of his earlier expressed stance about former US president George Bush not caring about Black people.
During their candid sit-down, Kimmel questioned Kanye on this in regards to Trump and his response was oh so telling.

In one regard, Kanye is ultimately free to do Kanye. But, it is getting a little grating to see him waffle around his answers – especially those probing the contradictory nature of his past and present socio-political stance.

Kanye grew up. He made those statements about President Bush in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina in 2005. A person can have different views after 13 years.
