Well, she’s also just days aways from releasing a brand new movie.

‘Welcome to Marwen’ will impact movie theatres on December 21st and sees Monae portray a toy brought to life by a man who is brutally assaulted when he is outed a cross dresser.
Robert Zemeckis (‘Romancing the Stone’ and ‘Forest Gump’) is directing the picture and worked with Monae and her co-stars on this release twenty six years after he directed the beloved ‘Death Becomes Her.’
