Lady Gaga’s ‘Shallow’ Soars to #1 on iTunes After Grammy Performance

As if nabbing two awards for ‘Best Song Written for Visual Media’ and ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ wasn’t enough for ‘Shallow,’ the hit single found aboard 2018’s ‘Star is Born’ soundtrack, now the song’s back atop the sales charts.

With positive reviews of her dramatic interpretation of the song live at the 61st Annual Grammy awards (February 10) setting Twitter alight, the performance led some to head straight to iTunes to purchase the track.  ‘Shallow,’ leading the list of tunes that received a boost after winning an award or being performed at the ceremony, has already peaked at #5 on the Hot 100.

    It had already been #1 on itunes for days or weeks again way before this performance.
