Janet Jackson‘s ‘Metamorphosis’ show has been met with a stream of positive reviews since its unveiling on May 17th.
Powered by brilliant arrangements, a fantastic live vocal performance and backing vocalist support from the likes of Rebbie James, the show mixes and blends musical moments from the icon’s discography to offer attendees a fresh (and colourful) look into her career.
One of the night’s highlights takes place when the performer revives her ‘All For You‘-sized jam ‘Trust a Try’. How she delivers this time around? With help from her club-cut ‘Feedback’ and support from Chris Rivera…the dancer Janet handpicked after seeing him move with Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Camila Cabello.

At 53, I am NOT expecting t he hard cord slaying Janet of 2002 with a killer body with sexxy outfits but what I am expecting are performances on this level with better costumes. Her dancing is fine. Her energy is fine. Her setlist is beyond expectations BUT please hire a new wardrobe person and stylist. Taking off the layers and just wearing the black bodysuit underneath would be more appealing and likely comfortable for her. I get it. Just like on the Unbreakable tour and STOW tour she does not feel like changing her clothes backstage so she wears a black bodysuit. Well just wear that on stage and forget those layers of baggy clothing. Wear a sparkly black bodysuit and show off your thickness because the baggy clothes make you look sloppy instead of thick.

As I thought out of shape and out of tune. Again we see the same old stuff nothing new nothing exciting. Same with MJ concerts from the bad tour to the history tour almost the same concept. Really bad Vocals how long can she pull this of? That’s probably why she doesn’t play in EU because tickets can be sold no one wants to see such BS. And her hair awful wig get a new already.

Wins what? I seen whatever been uploaded on YouTube and such and nothing new really as for the singing well for the most part play back Not impressed. I can’t see a world tour for this. She’s been in my town a couple of times before the only success tour she came with was the velvet rope 10.000 in the audience. As for the Janet tour it was user 3000 in the audience. The rhythm nation tour she cancelled Minutes before it should go on. The no 1 tour was a totally flop the floors was as good as empty. I was personally at the Janet tour but even than I was a little disappointed she was not at all present at the show she cut the show very short and I think it was the lack of people she just didn’t care

No I am not a Madonna fan but she’s better and way more creative than Janet Jackson ever will be it seems. The Jackson family are a world wide joke in the music industry. Look at the Jackson s now in concert really! Ofcause Michael Jackson needed to leave them he was talent they where and still are a side kick. LaToya Jackson he he that’s pretty much her talent. 3t had some EU hits but long forgotten. The Jackson family gets alot of icon awards. But really what new have they brought to the audience lately? Coming from a true Janet Fan actually Janet changed her line up also added different songs the entire show had mixed choreography.. Janet is NOT out of shape for a 53 year old I think credit should be given to the fact that Janet did a 2 hour and 15 minute show non stop with the exception of costume changes.. you talking a lot of junk about someone I love. I am a huge Janet Jackson fan been following her since different strokes I am here in Vegas and I saw her show Wednesday night Janet was amazing no signs of 53 anywhere… Janet took us through her journey and I walked out of that concert feeling more connected to my favorite celebrity now more than ever. Janet’s show is full of energy and Love.. Janet has proven that her work is not done. I am ready for the next chapter of Janet Jackson. I love Janet and will remain a fan forever Janet is truly my inspiration
