August 2019 has given Christina Aguilera much to celebrate.
For, just days before commemorating the 20th anniversary of the release of her self-titled debut album (August 24), Xtina was on hand at the kick-off ceremony for the D23 Expo (the Disney fan convention). There, the 38-year-old was among a dozen famous faces honored with the prestigious ‘Disney Legend’ award – an esteemed honor bestowed to individuals who have ‘made remarkable contributions to the Disney legacy.’ Joining the ranks of Robert Downey, Jr., Robin Roberts, and more, fans familiar with Aguilera’s career trajectory know her longstanding history with Mickey Mouse as she got her start as a Mouseketeer kid on ‘The All New Mickey Mouse Club’ in the early 1990s before jump-starting her recording career with 1998’s ‘Reflection’ (the theme song from the animated feature film, ‘Mulan’).
In addition to accepting the honor as a Disney legend – an accomplishment she bragged was ‘better than winning a Grammy’ – the five-time Grammy winner blessed the audience with a stirring live performance of the song that started it all.

Wow! She did that. Go Xtina!

She sounded terrible. Truly needs a vocal coach.
The original vocals were almost perfection. She can still sing but her voice where as it was soft, strong and clear has not become Harsh/Graspy and forced. She is still a Vocal Powerhouse but with less Clarity.
I thought this was easily one of her best vocal performances in years
No excuse for that horrible tan Xtina can do better…i wish she would go back to her stripped era.
Absolutely horrendous.
She has the absolute worst technique and if she keeps it up, she won’t even be able to talk in a few years time.
This isn’t funny, but it made me LOL at my desk. I agree.
Christina would still be relevant if she didn’t have such a nasty, diva attitude early into her career.
Sigh…
Duck face tho…,,, r.i.p xtina’s career 1998-2008 still a decent decade
Yes! Yes! Yes!! This right here is the Christina Aguilera I saw on her very first tour and the same Christina who recorded Back to Basics. She hasn’t sounded this good in YEARS!
To the haters. You all expect her to sing this as she did 20yrs ago???? Could you fav everrrrr? No! Before jumping on her technique go check her xperience and xtour vocals, come right back and sit the frack down!
