When a young man was driven to suicide because he was bullied for dating a trans woman, Malik Yoba stood up to defend him and reveal that he can relate to him because he too is attracted to transexual women.
Little did he know that his admission would see him face claims that he sexually assaulted an individual named Mariah Lopez in the cold streets of New York City when they were a minor.

As for Malik, I think his initial comment that transgenders should be thought of and called women and not men is the same as trying to dictate how society thinks / treats transgenders without fully explaining the reasoning behind it and being open to opposing opinions. It is a learning process. Shows like Pose are doing it the right way. I learned a lot from watching that show. My opinion is that people should call people by their name and not by their gender. The more shows like Pose and Rupaul’s Drag Race the better imo.

Normally TGJ can exaggerate a headline like no one else, but this is the first time I can say that the headline is an understatement. An interview can’t get any worse than this, short of someone being physically assaulted which is what Malik looked ready to do. It is unprofessional to tell someone things look bad for them as if they’re on trial, but the conversation seemed to naturally drift into the allegations. Malik questioned the interviewer about using social media to gauge the truth of the matter, but Malik himself created the discussion on social media and now he doesn’t want to finish it. He also said the interviewer wouldn’t move off the allegations. It was one question he stayed on only because Malik wouldn’t answer it. The interviewer was giving Malik the chance to set things straight by telling his truth, and why wouldn’t Malik want to take the opportunity to do that? I can’t support him on this one.
If you have a pending criminal case or civil lawsuit against your attorney would advise you to not answer any possibly incriminating questions or questions that can be used against you. Clearly, Malik met the interview for “4 HOURS” to set boundaries on what could and could not be asked in the interview. It is the interviewers fault for doing Malik dirty and lying to him.
If you watch the whole video you will see that Malik directly answered the question directly at 7:20. I am not sure why this article fast forwarded the video to 15:00 but if you watch it in its entirety you will notice the interviewer trully is being a backstabbing demon and trying to set up Malik.

I feel like Malik tried to get ahead of the allegations coming out, so he exposed himself before anyone else could. At the same time trying to play advocate to save face, but it’s backfiring on him because he is full of it! Lol
