Solange Accepts The First-Ever Lena Horne Prize

Solange has long blazed her own trail and this week saw her recognized for her seismic effect on culture and discourse.

The eclectic singer was honored with the first-ever Lena Horne Prize for Artists Creating Social Impact at a celebration event at The Town Hall in NYC.
In a major move, Horne’s family presented Solo with the honor.
The salute comes on the heels of the songbird hatching latest album, ‘When I Get Home,’ which has been met with ample critical acclaim.

    She physically attacked her brother in law in that elevator for several minutes, instead of her to get cancelled, u guys rewarded her with a career

    If tables were turned, if it was a man that did what solange did , his career will be over.
