I like JoJo’s rendition, but Toni still performs this song better than anyone. JoJo has been listening to her fans, because her sound is clearly leaning more r&b and that’s a good thing. Something still isn’t clicking and I don’t know what it is. Every single so far has had a very short lifespan.
Because she is releasing songs that are great but not single material. The quality is there but go like things that are a little more upbeat and have a repetitive tempo. Man was a great album song But it was not a song thats going to get alot of spins on the radio.
Toni is super underrated, especially outside the US.
I don’t think doing reality TV is the best thing for her legacy, this is how she’s making money now since her music is not selling that much. I don’t know if the show is still running ?
What she said in the video is… about the dating situation, you have to be able to afford to date.
Didn’t she file for bankruptcy twice ? I mean ok you need coins to go to the restaurant, enjoy a movie or whatever. But when you’re into someone, things can be very simple as well.
You don’t need thousands and thousands of dollars to date. It didn’t sound very humble especially knowing her financial history.
