The British rapper AJ Tracey has seen his smash hit single ‘Ladbroke Grove’ earn over $1 million from digital streaming platforms.

Named after the neighbourhood he was raised in, ‘Grove’ was released independently on June 4th 2019 and became an instant underground hit thanks to fans who powered the track’s commercial journey by sharing it on social platforms.

By the end of the year it stood as one of the highest/fastest-selling releases in his domestic market and was certified Platinum after exceeding sales of 600,000 units.
This year, as the Londoner’s US fan base swells, the Garage track has seen its the earnings it amassed from streaming platforms fly north of £1.5 million ($1.7 million).
$1.7 million from streaming services alone.
Of this, $368,000 (92 million streams) was swept up on Spotify, as the rest of its digital fortune grew across Apple Music, Tidal, YouTube Music, Deezer, Amazon Music and Google Play.
