Check out Lady Gaga!
The Pop titan stuns on the double cover of InStyle Magazine, which also dubs as its Beauty Issue.
Posing it for a variety of striking shots (lensed by Nathaniel Goldberg), the feature also sees the singer open up about forthcoming album ‘Chromatica,’ battling back from depression, and her strong desire to start a family.
Pics and quotes below…
On New Album Chromatica:
“I made this music, and then I listened back to all of it, and it told the story of my life like a tapestry. I’m very proud of it because while it’s fun and celebratory, if you listen to those lyrics, you really will know my heart. It’s like the music is giving you permission to go on. Even if you’ve had the worst day ever, it’s OK to dance.”
On Hiding Depression Behind A Facade:
“I think it took me some time to grieve about the things that have happened to me, and I couldn’t be angry with myself for how long it took. I’ve been depressed and been at the grocery store and seen photos of myself and gone, ‘Well, I look like everything is good.’ But I was secretly freaking out, and the world had no idea. Or some people in the world. I hate using that phrase ‘the world.’ It’s so egocentric to assume the whole world thinks about or knows about me. It doesn’t.”
On Her Future Wants:
“Marriage. More music, more movies, more charity with the Born This Way Foundation. I want to do way more philanthropy. I want to help fund more research about fibromyalgia and neuropathic and chronic pain by putting a team of doctors together. I have a lot of dreams and hopes. What I will actually accomplish, I have no idea, but I know that I’ll be doing it with the people I love.”
On Starting A Family:
“Perhaps most important for the woman who calls herself Mother Monster is starting her own brood. “I will say I am very excited to have kids. I look forward to being a mom. Isn’t it incredible what we can do? We can hold a human inside and grow it. Then it comes out, and it’s our job to keep it alive. It’s so funny — everyone works out of my house every day. When they come in, I always say, ‘Welcome to the Womb!'”
Once again, every time we see this woman, her face looks different. It’s clear she’s planning to surprise drop the album soon, but surprise, it’s still going to perform like artpop. Will it debut at 1? Yes. Will it have longevity? No. Will the collab with Ariana but a hit? No. Does this generation care about Gaga? No.
nobody cares about what you have to say take your hate somewhere else.
Keep begging for my attention ? mwah! You’re not getting it chiillle
Does anybody care about your little comment on a gossip blog ? No!!! Take your hate elsewhere Clarkson#2 hypocrite. Hating on someone living their dreams is pure jealousy and hate lmao Seethe Alternative Facts/Clarkson #2
They put HER on the cover of the BEAUTY issue? A kii ?
she does a have a beauty brand…
Gaga’s makeup line was a flop. She thought she was going to take customers from fenty beauty and it backfired. Try again. And step 1 in owning a beauty line is being beautiful
Beauty issue? What is Gaga doing on there then?
many magazines have women who don’t define beauty. some look like horses and like they just got out of bed but here we are
She is isolating the casual listeners which she needs for it to be a success. She isn’t at the point in her career where she can release it and just be fun. She still has something to prove. Longevity I don’t see it. But it’s good for the now.
she is isolating casual listeners how ? by doing a magazine cover? its 2020 when are ya gonna realize that for over a decade Gaga has been doing whatever the hell she wants instead of what people want her to do.
the trolls got time in the comment section today.
Y’all haterz are pressed by this woman ? Gonna be a flop, longevity, she’s ugly blah blah blah! Few artists out here in this generation are spanning adult and younger Pop demographics.
Which artist can sell out Vegas doing Jazz Standards, get countless accolades for acting and singing in her own soundtrack AND drop pop dance music which WILL chart from a housing that will likely hit BB 200 no.1?
Gaga is not a model with a mic. She will keep reinventing and wearing different hats and turning her hand to different musical ventures until the cows come home. But what won’t change is her talent. This is what will keep her relevant.
Bookmark me. Like Mariah she’s gonna 20 years in the game + still making music still being critiqued by y’all, still making bank, STILL RELEVANT. And y’all will deal. ?
Nobody is ready that terribly written essay. Go stream stupid love and buy Gaga’s beauty line.
Can’t stand ‘Stupid Love’ but I did go to school so I understand why me saying what I said is easier for you to dismiss – you being so academically challenged with reading comprehension and all …… ??♂️??♂️??♂️
