I really don’t understand the direction JoJo is going. It was great to hear some r&b from her on this album, but “Disaster” is the last time I saw the JoJo that I have loved from the very beginning. This “Comeback” stuff ain’t for her.

No she didn’t. The only disdain she ever expressed was on Twitter when she told fans to stop asking about “The Other Chick” and to look forward to other music. I met her at a meet & greet and she smiled and joked with me about the song. Then she turned around and created the Leaks, Covers and Mixtapes Tour in which she included “The Other Chick” among plenty of other pop songs that she didn’t have to. Mad Love was pop too. You want me to believe that JoJo has hated pop music since 2004? Absolutely not! If you were front row like I was for one of her concerts, you would know JoJo sings every song with passion and pleasure regardless of the genre. She hates none of it.
