The severity of Tamar Braxton‘s fragile mental state in the moments before her suicide attempt is becoming apparent.

As reported, the singer alleged attempted to take her life with a cocktail of pills and alcohol at a Los Angeles hotel last night. She was found by partner David Adefeso, who called for help.
Now, it’s emerging that Braxton was in dire straits and sent family a message letting them know of her intent.
Obtained by The Blast, the message (which was drafted as a tweet that was ultimately never sent) was instead sent as a screen-grabbed text to her loved ones:
“I am a slave. I do not own my life. My stories. My pictures. My thoughts or beliefs. I’ve asked my massa to free me. I’m threatened and punished for it.
The only way I see out is death. I will choose that before I continue to love (sic) like this. Please help me”
It’s not officially known what Tamar was referring to.
However, a report cites an alleged contractual dispute between the star and WE tv. A source claimed that the singer didn’t know the trailer for ‘Get Ya Life!’ was dropping yesterday (July 16) and is alleged to have disliked how she was portrayed.
As we shared, she added the word “slave” to her Twitter profile in the moments before the incident.

Mental Health is no joke. Sometimes it gets too much and support is needed before things spiral out of control and become critical. I hope she slows down and finds purpose and value in life beyond the media.

What has she gone through that no other human has experienced? We all are suffering. However, that doesn’t give you the right to take something that truly don’t belong to you and that is precious life. Again, pure selfish.
clearly some do not understand trauma. Let me help some of you. See, no ones trauma is greater than the other. For, it is not about what happens to a person, but how it affects them. What one may find extremely simple to get over, the other person may struggle.
In this case, Tamar seems to suffer from either clinical depression or another form of mental health issues. i’m sure there is more to this story and more to what made her feel this way.

I happen to be one of Tamar fans. And I would appreciate if you kept your negative thoughts to yourself. If you have nothing positive to say then remain silent so we all are protected from your immature thoughts.
I work at a mental hospital. Mental illness is real and it’s no joke. Be mindful of your negative remarks, you may have one or two in your family. I have seen people come in very depress and feels there is no way out. It take a person with empathy to help them through it. Apparently Dee, who ever you are, you have none. I am praying for the Braxton family.

Everybody always want to make light of situations until it hits home. Stop assuming that you know what she was going through, or thinking that everything is a stunt. Sometymes people can hide alot the pain they indure inside. Smile. But sadness that crept deep within unseen by others/ many. What could b plaugueing her inside. Pressure. Pressure of assurance of am i enough. Can i handle all that im going thru. N all ive gone thru. Smile. But a hurt that only she felt. N silent. A cry 4 help.
