After just a week’s warning, Trey Songz unveils ‘Back Home’ – his first studio album since 2017’s Gold-certified ‘Tremaine.’
His only LP to launch without a charting Hot 100 single to support it, ‘Home’s release was preceded by housed tunes ‘Circles,’ ‘2020 Riots: How Many Times,’ and ‘Two Ways.’
In addition, the 22-track effort boasts guest appearances from fellow R&B/Urban music stars Summer Walker, Swae Lee, Davido, and Ty Dolla $ign.
Will the packed project (and its impressive guest list) be enough to build the buzz necessary for a notable Billboard 200 entry?

Nice late night vibes
A great description. The best track is Back Home, just b/c it riffs If It Isn’t Love by NE.
I’m so sick of his s** albums. Very played out.
His audience has mostly moved on I think
Well, r&b in general isn’t happening right now, but this quiet storm album isn’t going to bring it back.
And seriously, 22 tracks at one a time? Not a great strategy. I think only EPs make sense right now.
None of the songs sound like they involved much effort. It’s all rather typical.
