Lil Wayne is facing up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to a gun possession charge.

In news just in, it’s been confirmed that the rapper is not contesting the case.
As reported, the US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida charged the MC with one count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon.
The ‘Lollipop’ lyricist was first convicted of a felony gun charge in 2009.
His latest legal woe centers around guns found on Wayne’s at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport in December 2019.
With Wayne having pled guilty to the gun charge today in Miami, his sentencing is set for January.
And though he faces serious time in theory, TMZ report that he’s likely to receivce leniency. “Why” you may wonder? Word is that the star agreed to the guilty plea and in exchange that prosecutors recommend a lighter sentence because he’s accepting culpability.
Still, the decision rests in the hands of a judge.
