Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will be telling their story in a major primetime TV interview with talk show veteran Oprah Winfrey.
Full story below…
The news was announced a day after a rep for the couple confirmed that they are expecting their second child.
The Duke & Duchess of Sussex have been at the center of intense media interest since setting sail on their life together.
And while many have cheered them on, a select sect have opted to be unrelentingly critical for reasons some feel is rooted in racism.
Now based in the US after “stepping back as Senior royals,” Meghan and Harry have agreed to share their experience in the 90-minute special – which will air Sunday, March 7 on CBS.
A statement from the network read:
“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure. Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”
Beyond Winfrey being a friend (who attended their 2018 wedding) and one of the most revered entities in television history, she is already working with Harry on an Apple+ mental health docuseries.
As such, she is no doubt is a wise pick for the pair.
Definitely will be watching! 🤳🏽
