In news just in, Gregg Leakes, the husband of Nene Leakes, has died aged 66.

The 66-year-old passed after a battle with colon cancer; cancer his wife – a former star of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ – recently revealed was terminal.
A family rep issued the following statement:
“Today the Leakes family is in deep pain with a broken heart. After a long battle with cancer, Gregg Leakes has passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by all of his children, very close loved ones and wife Nene Leakes.
We ask that you pray for peace and strength over their family & allow them to mourn in private during this very very difficult time.”
Nene and Gregg, who share a son named Brent together, married in 1997 and divorced in 2011 before re-marrying two years later.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Leakes family.

Honestly I’m not surprised..when she revealed that a few days ago I said the next time we hear from her it won’t be good and this was less than 48 hrs ago smh..RIP Greg
Her anger this passed year and social media altercations make so much more sense.

This just breaks my heart. As someone that went through chemotherapy and radiation, and now in remission. I’m so blessed, but my heart just breaks for Nene. It’s so hard to go through watching your loved one just die in front of your eyes.
