GRAMMY-winning singer-songwriters Ne-Yo and Eric Bellinger teamed with award-winning stage, film, and TV actor Taye Diggs for the soulful CW holiday special, ‘The Black Pack: We Three Kings.’
A nod to the legendary supergroup The Rat Pack (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and others), ‘Kings’ – which aired November 29 – is billed as “a holiday extravaganza of music and dance” that sees its trio of headliners tackle classic and contemporary holiday tunes like ‘O Come All Ye Faithful,’ ‘What Christmas Means to Me,’ and more between hilarious comedic segments.
Directed by Markel Ringer, the Bellinger, Ne-Yo, and Diggs-led TV event also called on help from a wide array of special guests including singer/songwriters Tank and Sevyn Streeter.

Ne-Yo’s one of my favorite artists, and Eric’s voice stood out well, but I don’t think this show really came together. The song arrangements were odd, especially Amber’s rendition of “O Holy Night”. The song was unrecognizable; same with Sevyn Streeter’s performance. Sevyn thought she was at a gentleman’s club.
Ne-Yo’s one of your favorite artists???? Damn, well that explains a lot lol.
