Based on the acclaimed novel by Walter Mosley (who adapts the story for the screen and serves as executive producer), the narrative tells a powerful tale about family, memory, and legacy.
Jackson stars as Ptolemy Grey, a man battling dementia who is forgotten by his family, friends, and in many ways himself.
In a surprising turn of events, Ptolemy is assigned to the care of orphaned teenager Robyn (Dominique Fishback) who helps him discover a treatment that can restore his dementia-affected memories. From there, shocking truths about the past, present, and future are uncovered.
The powerful series premieres on March 11 on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes. Thereafter, one new episode weekly will arrive on Fridays.
