D.L. Hughley and Mo’Nique have been making headlines this week after the latter hit out at the ‘The Kings of Comedy’ comedian – alleging that he refused to perform at a joint event if she headlined.
The resulting spar has seen the pair take to social media with claims that they (and not the other) were given top billing at the Detroit Fox Theater event.
Now, D.L. appears to have drawn a definitive line under his side of the debate – with receipts too.

From where we’re standing, as entertaining as the shenanigans have been, the whole episode is been rather unfortunate. Especially when considering that the root of their issue (e.g. misleading agreements) indicates that they ought to be having words with the organizers and not each other. Particularly not publicly.

Y’all need to be quicker or post the whole story. Mo’nique literally posted the same receipts showing her name to be the headliner. So if anything, they were both played by the promoter. Do your due diligence and post both sides instead of perpetuating a false narrative
Regardless, Mo started this mess by taking it to the stage instead of taking it to her agent or whoever books her gigs. Nothing can ever be handled behind the scenes with her. She thinks taking it public will garner support when it really turns off the industry because she never practices any discretion. That’s why she’s getting Octavia’s leftovers.
None of that has anything to do with what I was saying.
She took it to the stage because even with them being given shiesty contracts, he made a point to refuse to go on stage after her. He made it seem as if he was better than her. She addressed the contract but this was the meat of her argument.
That’s why I prefaced what I said with regardless. Mo needs to learn don’t start s*** then there won’t be s*** She does it to herself.

Mo needs some psychological help. Get it done and get back to doing what you do best. I’d like to see you happy again.
Thiis is so embarrassing , yet again here We are airing out dirty laundry before the world. No other ethnicity does this. It is degrading, disturbing and extremely unprofessional. We must do better.
