The man who is being accused of allegedly murdering rapper Nipsey Hussle has reportedly been assaulted in jail.

According to Rolling Stone, Eric Holder was beaten up after he left a Los Angeles courtroom. Holder did receive treatment for his injuries, however, he was unable to attend his trial on June 28 as a result of the incident.
It is currently unclear as to where specifically the assault occurred, but Holder is supposed to be separated from other inmates when he’s transported to and from the courthouse.
Additionally, the extent of his injuries is also unknown, but he has reportedly suffered more than a black eye.
Closing arguments and jury deliberations in the high-profile case were scheduled to start on June 29. It is unclear if the trail will proceed as planned going forward.
Holder is accused of murdering the ‘Racks in the Middle’ rapper outside his Marathon Clothing store on March 31, 2019. If convicted as charged, he faces a possible life sentence.
