As for how many spins it received, that number is 1,595. The large number of first day spins allowed ‘Hold Me Closer’ to debut at #31 on the pop airplay chart.
What’s more, it becomes Spears’ first top 40 song at pop radio since ‘Slumber Party’ reached #27 in 2016.
As for John, it becomes his second entry over the last year. He previously reached a peak of #8 with his Dua Lipa collaboration ‘Cold Heart.’
