Taking to press, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) announced that their song ‘Heart Attack’ has now been upgraded to 4x Platinum status for the sales equivalent of 4,000,000 units in the United States.
As a result of its upgraded status, the song now has the distinct honor of becoming Lovato’s second highest-certified single. The only one to best it is 2017’s ‘Sorry Not Sorry,’ which is certified 5x Platinum.
Upon its release, ‘Heart Attack’ saw huge commercial success. The song sold 215,000 copies in the US in its first week and would go on to peak at #10 on the coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Needless to say, a huge congratulations is in order.
