In what may be the most exciting news since Rihanna was said to be taking frequent vocal lessons , the reports that Destiny’s Child may be reuniting has been given further steam recently.
For one time member Letoya Luckett has hinted at the fact that the possibility that the group may get back together.

Speaking directly to GlobalGrind, Ms Luckett said in response to the speculation:
“Sure, I’d definitely do it.”
This comes less than a month after Beyonce thanked former colleagues LaTavia Roberson and LeToya during her Billboard Artist Of The Millennium acceptance speech.
For more than a decade, the scandal surrounding both Roberson’s and Luckett’s departure from the group has plagued the public’s perception of former manager, Mathew Knowles.
His alleged preferential treatment of his own daughter, Beyonce and close friend Kelly Rowland is said to have either caused Luckett and Roberson to leave or have them fired from the group that the latter helped to form.
In recent years, Rowland and Luckett have openly discussed their rekindled friendship.
Whilst the concept of all five ladies getting back together sure to be a hot topic for time to come, it is worth wondering how a reunion of sorts could take place without embarrassing members who time has not been so kind to.

I would love to see the original Destiny Child with Latoya and Latvia. I like Michele too but
she is not one of the original members so she should not be in the reunion. If there is a
reunion it is only because Beyonce new album isn’t doing so well. That is why she is
trying to reconnect with Kelly and some of the old members of the groups. She wants
to be in the spotlight all time and if any of the girls are doing good like Kelly, she tries
to steal their shine which is a shame.

I think you are making false conclusions on hearsay. To me Letoya’s answer was like “Sure, I’d definitely do it.” This means that she has not been asked to do a reunion but if the opportunity were asked of her she would do it if it he deal was lucrative. I think a real reunion is unrealistic. I could see Michelle and Kelly joining Beyonce on tour a couple dates like last that but a new album and group tour is very likely not going to happen. Beyonce is already a superstar so she has proven that she can sell records and hold her spot as a top entertainer as a solo act. Beyonce sharing the limelight again is not going to happen. Even when Destiny’s Child was around the group really should have been called “Beyonce and them.”
They (all of them) would be damn fools, these women need to move on and let go. DC was the 2000’s they’re past history and it’d make all of them look kind if stupid pathetic to revisit high school sh.t now.

@HACKI, You’re right!!But during their “TWOTW” era Destiny’s Child were just a successful band and not THAT popular worldwide.The era was successful, yet a burning mess, as the band that promoted the 1st 2 singles was different from the band that promoted the last 2.Survivor was the album that turned them from successful artists into budding icons
I myself loved the ORGINAL group… Me being the same age as the girls, & being from Texas as well, I felt so connected to them when they 1st came out. Michelle is cool and all Ive grown to lover her alot, but when she came along I was truly upset the group split.

I love dc3 also, but bey and kelly’s tone are so close, that michelle’s voice is sometimes, distracting…
Beyonce singing all lead=Nicole, a few minor parts for Kelly=Melodie, while the 3 others just be background…..sounds kinda like a PUSSYCAT DOLL Concert!
Latavia will never be allowed to set foot on stage with DC again Beyonce can not stand her, latoya was never the issue, she just happend to be best friends with Latavia and a lot of people don’t know but, Latavia was kicked out first before Latoya, when the girls came to perform on the Ian Wright show in the UK only 3 of them turned up woth no Latavia and i heard Beyonce arguing on the phone about Latavia acting up! All the girls Michelle and Kelly love Latoya and Beyonces mother even stoked her clothing line in Latoya’s LL clothing shops and helped her promote it. There is deffo a chance Latoya would be invited back to do a few numbers if they were to do a reunion tour, but never Latavia

Don’t do it ladies! Bey is only doing this to spark interest in her own project since it’s been getting less than stellar reviews and not doing well on the charts. Talented or not, people are sick of her and this is just a way for her to get some more interest.
I don’t think this would be very good. Bey’s on a different level now and she would be the one with most parts anyway. Though I love Destiny’s Child, maybe they could just do a reunion concert.
I would just like for Latavia, LeToya, and Farrah to air out all the dirty laundry about Mathew and talk about what really happened! We all know he and Beyonce did them wrong. This is why I can’t stand Beyonce… she always had to be the leader of the group and outdo everyone. Why the hell would she agree to that? Tina used to always dress her the best and made sure she had the best hairstyles while the others just looked all right. Beyonce is just greedy and selfish. She didn’t even care to slow down when she knew she was going to get back with DC3. I am still saddened and shocked that a bunch of comedians joked about Beyonce and “the girls.” How f*ked up is that? They all worked their a*sses off! They all spent hours learning choreography, taking voice lessons, and working out!
The only reason why Beyonce is this famous, successful entertainer is because her daddy did everything he could to get her in the spotlight. He pushed her so hard and let’s not forget about him being on the damn Grammy committee! Had he did what he did to get Beyonce to be a brand with Kelly and Michelle’s careers, they would’ve been just as famous. People say Beyonce is so amazing and sh*t when she’s not. Dunk, Beyonce only just thanked Latavia for her contributions to the group the other day. From what I heard, Letoya was the problem in the group, not Latavia, although if I had to pick out of the two members I would guess that Latavia would probably be the problem in the group out of anyone. I don’t believe that Beyonce would stop Latavia from getting on stage and I believe that for them to really pull off a decent DC reunion, they would need all 5 members there (no Farrah, she has absolutely no business being there because she did f*** all for the group). The only other way a reunion will be successful would be to allow ALL 5 members to sing lead parts on whatever project they do, whether its an album, a tour, or a one off performance. I don’t just want to hear Beyonce, I want to hear them all. OK I think I said enough.
And for the record Teddy, Latavia sang solo on The Writing’s on the Wall.
