Taking to press, Billboard announced the news that ‘Flowers’ has led the chart for a sixth straight week.
This is largely due to it taking the #1 spot on radio, as it garnered an audience 95.2 million during the tracking week. It also claimed the top spot on the sales chart.
As a result of ‘Flowers’ spending a sixth week at #1, the song has now officially doubled the amount of time ‘Wrecking Ball’ spent at #1 one – the song was previously Cyrus’ longest-reigning single on the chart.
The news of another week at #1 comes shortly after Cyrus revealed the tracklist for her upcoming ‘Endless Summer Vacation’ album – out March 10.
