Pop starlet Nicola Roberts brought her brand of quirky to ITV 1’s Paul O’ Grady Show this week.
There, she served up an ‘interesting’ performance of new single ‘Beat of My Drum’. She also sat down for an interview with comic O’Grady, who cornered her with a question about Girls Aloud bandmate Cheryl Cole and her reported reconciliation with love-rat ex-husband Ashley Cole.
All the action after the jump…
well…she vocally shits on cheryl cole. good performance but there are certain dance moves she should NEVER attempt again lol @ 1:50.
love her! she’s so cute! her album cover slays! cheryl who?
She actually has a voice and potential, plus some good songs so I support her all the way.
She actually sings live, which are some points and I actually like that song but the production, the band, the dancers clothes, the dance moves…..her dress…..everything was just wrong…..Even though cherl lip-singed atleast the performance looked good and was entertaining…..Until this post I had forgotten about her and this song…..I don’t see her being an international superstar solo style or even lasting in 2 years time…..She did better than nadine though. So good for her.
Nice Acapella!
She defo needed that intro, to remind us that she is ‘meant’ to be able to sing, as the track is sooo WACK!
I think she could be the dark horse of Girls Aloud!!
I will keep a eye on her progression.
L.
gosh i smell a kelly rowland syndrome. they talked more bou GA/cheryl than they did her
this was a great performance, the first one TGJ posted was horrible. now im a lot more interested in her
she’s good live and to state the obvious she’s kinda stiff but hey you cant always have it all. its rare for musicians to always do both Mariah, jlo etc one or other
This is the best performance i have seen of this totally s*** song. She has a better voice than i imagined, not better than Nadine but second to that.
Her teeth are horrid!
The intro was amazing. A little shaky though. The rest was ok. Not my type of music but it wasn’t too bad. At least she wasn’t lip-synching. And some of the dance moves she shouldn’t have attempted.
