The 32-year-old trumpeted news of the LP’s August 25 release date along with the debut of the project’s aptly titled latest single ‘Big 7.’
Following on the heels of ‘Sittin’ On Top Of The World’ (which sampled Brandy’s 1998 classic ‘Top Of The World’), Burna says of the song:
“‘Big 7’ is a melodic tribute to embracing new heights in my musical journey. The title represents a symbolic aspiration to reach greater horizons, with the number seven embodying an attainable and harmonious growth.”
Having amassed over 12 million plays on TikTok (where it was previewed ahead of its release), the single looks poised to scale to higher heights with the arrival of its accompanying video.
Directed by Benny Boom, the visual features Burna’s crew (the 7G’s) as well as Busta Rhymes, RZA(Wu-Tang Clan), Junior Mafia, and actor Shameik Moore.
