Brandy fans are so delusional…. they really think this has been is some type of “god”. Well #NEWSFLASH she ain’t!!! Just another ratchet looking b**** who can sing her ass off without being a powerhouse. She needs to stay in her lane and maybe she’ll crash into some success. She could never come for Beyonce or Aaliyah or Monica but she sure as hell could have ran Ashanti out the game. I actually like Bran but ever since Ashanti snatched her wig in 2002, she ain’t been the same.
Her rapping is elementary so please with that schtick. Her acting is overrated as well cuz she played the same role in Thea, Moesha and that Diana Ross movie…. that same role happens to be her true life persona, an insecure brat. She was never anybody’s model…. Tyra Banks & Naomi Campbell would scoff at the thought.
Hopefully she gets it together cuz 2011 is the year of the flops with Kelly Rowland reigning so maybe Bran can bandwagon off her and get a piece of the pie.

May be harsh but Almond Joy that was realtalk all day. People are so full of sh!t. Bran this and Bran that but when Bran comes with the music their not even feeling it. Bran is trying everything to stay relevent and trust me I’ve met her “She Aint Never Gon Be No Model”. Chic got a vibe on the mic but I think the sun has set and all she can give us now is a memory. It takes an unselfish female to be top dawg amongst the chics on today’s music scene. It’s go hard or go home. If you have no vibe, you aint good to listen to and look at it’s not a good look for you.

People give Brandy a hard time, and although she hasn’t been as successful as previously (as a lot of her 90’s counterparts) people have forgotten the legacy that she has music wise and as a young black female in the media at her time. Brandy was a big crossover star in both music and TV for black girls had an image that didn’t consist of straight hair or weaves or being naked and was a good role model.
@classydiv – obviously the album is coming soon..as for the rest of the haters/ disbelievers.. yall need to check your current artists who would deny brandy as an influence to their careers..she is a god to the music industry.. she is a creator of vocal uniquness, she has created this new generation or era of ‘artists’ who have drawn influence from her..bout time people start showing MF respect, for all of brandy’s ground work… Im so glad we get to see A BEASt in the StuDIO..from her new doc-series.

She is clearly with in the ranks of Beyonce and Rihanna. You can’t name another artist who had a T.V. Show, Movie, T.V. movie, Tour, and 14 million WW album all @ the same time. When is your fave gonna do it? She just didn’t find sucess as of recent. So don’t make Brandy out to be some Ashanti type artist (how disrespectful).
