Explaining the rationale for her decision, Burruss said:
“A friend of mine was like, ‘Why do you keep doing it?’ And I was like, ‘Well, I think because I’ve just been doing it so long, feels weird to think not to do it?’ So I was just like, ‘You know what? I’m going to take a break, I’m going to take a moment.”
She continued:
“It’s been 14 seasons, and they allowed us to sit around for a little too long. But during that time I had started working on a lot of other things, and I got some nice big projects coming soon, so I’m super excited about those things.”
The news comes after it was confirmed that a reboot of the show’s cast was on the cards.
Whole series needs to exit. TV loves to show us yelling and fighting and lashing out at the world.
I’m going to miss Kandi aka MISS WORLDWIDE. She is Atlanta, always makes me happy to see and her family on the show. She is the LONGEST running housewife on BRAVO. She has so much to look forward to with all of her businesses and ventures. She is gonna continue being the boss that she is ❤️
