Sabrina Carpenter is clapping back.
More details below…
Taking to her Instagram, Carpenter shared a picture of this week’s Billboard Hot 100 chart where her song ‘Please Please Please’ sits at the top, her first #1 single.
In the series of pictures, she also shared a video of her in the studio with Jack Antonoff, the song’s producer, as well as a tweet from a person on twitter that claimed that said they don’t think anyone has fumbled a second single like ‘Please Please Please.’
The sharing of the #1 position along with the tweet appears to be Carpenter clapping back at that person over their words though she did not say anything about it in the caption of the post.
And that’s how you do it. Keep working hard, stay unproblematic, and prove them wrong. I’m not a massive SC fan but she’s smart. There’s been a gap in the market for a new younger pop girl and here she is.
it’s so strange when someone’s worst song becomes their biggest. please please please is literally her worst single release, not a good song. but thanks to previous much better songs like espresso and feather this is the one that gained enough hype
