Tia Mowry is doubling down that there’s no beef between her and superstar twin sister Tamera Mowry.
As reported here, the veteran actress – while hot on the promo trail in support of the October 4 premiere of her weTV reality series ‘Tia Mowry: My Next Act‘ – revealed in a clip for the show that she wishes she and Tamera were “still close.”
After the comment gained serious traction on the Web, Tia said the quote was taken out of context and the lack of “closeness” she was referencing was about their physical distance as they now live in different cities.
Reaffirming that statement, the 46-year-old was spotted chatting it up at ‘Entertainment Tonight’ resident anchor Deidre Behar. When not discussing her present-day relationship with ex-husband Cory Hardrict, she discussed ‘My Next Act,’ her current dating life, and – of course – Tamera.
“She is a mother. Her children need her. She is also a wife. Her husband needs her,” Tia shared. “So she’s just not as accessible as the way it used to be. So, I’m comparing it to what it used to be. But, I literally just talked to her yesterday.”
And if that wasn’t clear enough for the naysayers, she reiterated that the two are fine.
“Everything is good,” Mowry reaffirmed. “I’m gonna say what my cousin says, all is well. Period.”
At the time of this report, Tamera has not spoken publicly about Tia’s initial statement.
