One things the #Barbz can say is that their fave Nicki Minaj keeps them well-fed.
Not long after the dedicated fan group got their hands on the 10th anniversary edition of her 2014 album ‘The Pinkprint‘ on Friday (November 22) did the chart-topping rapstress reveal that even more new music is coming their way soon.
As if the December 13-due deluxe edition of her 2023 Billboard 200 topper ‘Pink Friday 2‘ wasn’t enough to get excited about, Minaj took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Friday to confirm she’s already hard-at-work on her next studio project.
“Thank you, Barbz! Happy holidays and a very blessed 2025,” she told her 28.1 million followers on the platform. “2025 = official new album.”
Minaj did not confirm if the new project, which will be delivered her very own Heavy On It label, will be her previously teased ‘Pink Friday 3.’
At the time of this report the 12x GRAMMY nominee also did not confirm a tentative release date for the effort which will be her sixth studio album.
What was confirmed, however, was that she’s already brainstorming tour ideas to support the LP.
“Of course,” she said to a fan’s inquiry on if a new global trek was coming too. “Well let me clarify, you’ll be notified of a tour in 2025 with the album. Not that the tour will start in 2025.”
The news comes just a month after Minaj wrapped her record-shattering ‘Pink Friday 2 Tour‘ which sits in history books as the highest-grossing jaunt launched by a female rapper to date.
Plastic sis needs to sit down. The album is always more hype than substance.
