Jay-Z Fires Back at “Extortionate” Sexual Assault Lawsuit, Demands Accuser Reveals Her Name

Jay-Z is delivering on his promise to mount a no-holds-barred legal rebuttal to a sexual assault lawsuit filed against him.

Full story below…

As reported, the superstar’s name was added to an amended lawsuit submitted by a Jane Doe that was initially filed against Diddy. It alleged that the pair r*ped her in 2000 following an award show when she was 13.

Moments ago, the mogul (born Shawn Carter) fired off the first legal clapback demanding that the accuser’s name not be anonymous and must be revealed.

Jay’s attorney Alex Spiro filed the motion, which read:

“Mr. Carter should not have to defend himself in the brightest of spotlights against an accuser who hides in complete darkness. Mr. Carter deserves to know the identity of the person who is effectively accusing him — in sensationalized, publicity-hunting fashion — of criminal conduct, demanding massive financial compensation, and tarnishing a reputation earned over decades.”

Continuing, Spiro’s filing added:

“Fair is fair. It is not consistent with justice, fairness, or the rules governing federal proceedings for the Plaintiff and her counsel to smear [Jay-Z]’s good name.”

Both Jay and his attorneys are taking particular umbrage with the Jane Doe’s attorney Tony Buzbee, who they say is mounting a “blackmail attempt” for financial gain. It’s asserted that he has set sail on a “patently false..campaign of extortion.”

The filing shared:

“Mr. Carter now is entitled to defend himself against these allegations with benefit of all the protections and mechanisms available to defendants. To be sure, attorney Buzbee’s game has been to prevent Mr. Carter from defending himself while punching below the belt. Today, that game is at an end and Mr. Carter’s defense has begun — starting with plaintiff’s unmasking.”

Well well… let’s see if the downfall begins with other people speaking up. Or if it’s an isolated case.

  2. What Would Diddy Do December 9, 2024

Diddy and Jay cases should be handled in private .like john doe vs Jane doe from now on.

Most cases involving a minor do not reveal the identity of said minor. Jay Z knows this. Im sure if it was his daughter in that position he would want her protected. This is an obvious attempt to undermine the plaintiff by revealing the identity. Jaguar Wright predicted this. If that’s true then this is the beginning, not the ending, for Jay Z.
