Brandy is set to tell her story on her terms by way of a brand-new memoir.
Full story below…
Moments ago, the R&B icon shared that she will be releasing the book later this year.
With over three decades in the spotlight, the star has shone since childhood and achieved seismic success as well as faced difficult hardships. All in front of the public eye.
Now, for the first time, she is readying a raw, “honest, and unfiltered” account of the highs, lows, and more than define her journey.
Opening up about the venture, The Vocal Bible said:
“Writing my memoir was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of my life. I allowed myself the space to be fearless and vulnerable to reveal some of my most intimate moments. For the first time, I am sharing my story–honest, unfiltered and not through the lens of media or critics.”
Continuing, ‘The Boy Is Mine’ Belter added:
“From singing in church as a little girl in McComb, Mississippi, touring across the world, starring as Moesha, and becoming the first Black Cinderella—I’ve experienced unforgettable highs. But what you didn’t see were the struggles behind the scenes, the trials that tested my spirit and shaped the woman I am today.
This memoir is more than a book; it’s a reflection of resilience, hope, and rediscovering myself beyond the fame, the music and the spotlight. This memoir is a lifetime in the making, and I hope my words bring inspiration as you navigate your own journey. Coming October 7, 2025.”
We’re buzzed to read. Are you?

Now I am really looking forward to this. When You Touch Me is one of my favorite songs of all time.
Oh really? Will she write about how she ran over and killed people? Will she talk about her jealous self for Monica?
Or will she reveal what was on the note that Whitney gave her???
I second the Nippy note, Jay.
TBF, she already addressed both of these. LIVE ON TV
Flop! Like everything she’s done since 2005. Monica is the real queen.
Yea , queen of the ghetto🤣
Can’t wait to read it, Bran! The Vocal Bible speaks!
