Tired of accusers running their mouths with unsubstantiated claims of physical and sexual abuse, ‘Run It’ hitmaker Chris Brown has run to the courts with hopes to silence them and the networks that are supporting them with a MEGA lawsuit.

In celebration of Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2024 (October), the Investigation Discovery (ID) channel – a subsidiary of Warner Bros. – unveiled a docuseries titled ‘Chris Brown: A History of Violence’ in which the GRAMMY winner is painted a serial sexual and physical abuser.

Brown offered his official response to the doc on Tuesday (January 21) when he took to Instagram to share the legal docs of his lawsuit against the network for libel and intentional infliction of emotional distress through defamatory claims.

What’s more, he also alleges that the evidence provided to substantiate their claims is completely false.

“To put it simply, this case is about the media putting their own profits over the truth,” the lawsuit reads. “Since the beginning of October of 2024, Ample LLC and Warner Brothers were put on notice that they were promoting and publishing false information in their pursuit of likes, clicks, downloads and dollars and to the detriment of Chris Brown. Ultimately, on October 27, 2024, they aired ‘Chris Brown: A History of Violence’ (the ‘Documentary’), knowing that it was full of lies and deception and violating basic journalist principles.”

At writing, reps from Warner have not issued a statement on the shocking suit.

  1. WHAT WOULD WHITNEY DO January 22, 2025

DID ID CHANNEL DO A DOCUMENTRY ABOUT CARDII. B VIOLENCE AGAINST LATINO FEMALES…

    • Nah January 22, 2025

Why would they? It would flop. A documentary about female violence agains other women is boring unless there’s some really sensational component to it like a behind the scenes Cardi and Nicki fight or something.

B****** fighting is big 💲💲💲 for tv.

So again When is ID channel gonna do a documentary about cardi b.

      • Nah January 22, 2025

If there’s no footage of Cardi fighting or footage of other females fighting, it will flop.

I noticed the documentary is no longer available and it only aired once. I refused to watch it because the promo did look like ID was trying to cash in on the popularity of these types of pop culture hit piece documentaries. Unlike “Escaping R. Kelly” this doc didn’t look well crafted or verified. Hope he wins.

  6. Me January 22, 2025

As he SHOULD!!! They need to stop playing with that mans name.
